Every man takes the limits of his own field of vision
for the limits of the world. Our vision is more obstructed by what we think we know than by our lack of
knowledge. It is one of the commonest of mistakes to consider that the
limit of our power of perception is also the limit of all there is to perceive. What we see depends mainly on what we look for. It's not what you look at that matters, it's what you
see. People only see what they are prepared to see. The eye sees only
what the mind is prepared to comprehend. If the doors of perception were cleansed everything
would appear to man as it is, infinite. For man has closed himself up, till he
sees all things thru' chinks of his cavern. Better keep yourself clean and bright you are the window through
which you must see the world. There's a wonder in the way we're always free to change the
world by changing how we see. And in the end, it's not the years in your life that
count. It's the life in your years When one door closes another door opens but we so often
look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door, that we do not see the
ones which open for us. This above all: to thine own self be true, And it must follow, as the
night the day, Success doesn't come the way you think it does, it
comes from the way you think. Nothing changes more consistently than the past ...
the past that influences our lives is not what actually happened but what we
believe happened. Life isn't about finding yourself. Life is about
creating yourself. Guard the secret theater of your heart. See nothing there that you do not want to see happen in reality. Eternity is not something that begins after you are dead. It is going on all the time. We are in it now. An optimist sees an opportunity in every calamity a
pessimist sees a calamity in every opportunity. Problems cannot be solved at the same level of awareness that created them.
